Extensive repairs have been carried out including:

Ø  Installed 10 new pier legs, with large M24 x 650mm galvanised bolts specially manufactured,

Ø  Replaced all roadway timbers, this required over 3,500 x 180mm M12 galvanised coach screws to be installed!!,

Ø  Replaced all handrail posts (50) and rails, made to original design.  Each post is held on with M24 galv bolts, plus new galvanised saddles,

Ø  Restoration of one of the original waiting rooms,

Ø  Installation of two ladders, plus a set of steps.

As purchased in 2007, many legs missing	Spring 2014, new legs and cross braces in place.
